On the Scandal of the Evangelical Mind

This is indeed a scandal, one that I think about often, being in Christian education myself. It bothers me greatly to hear and see Christians who correlate intellectual vacuity with some sort of higher piety. This has caused us no end of trouble in responding wisely and winsomely to our culture. I think many are starting to get tired of it, and evangelicals, hopefully, are recovering a true biblical ethic of loving God “with all our minds.”
